2 Nintendo Official Stores to be launched in Singapore in October 2021
The month of October is shaping up to be an exciting time for Nintendo fans! For the first time in Singapore, 2 Nintendo Official Stores will be launched on Singapore’s top ecommerce platforms, in Shopee on October 8th, and in Lazada on October 16th. Additionally, the Nintendo Official Store on Shopee will pre-launch on midnight September 8th when it will be open for pre-order for Nintendo Switch OLED model.
The Nintendo Switch Family system has sold over 89 million units globally since its launch in March 2017 (as of the end of June 2021).
A new Nintendo Switch model with an OLED display (Nintendo Switch OLED model) will join the Nintendo Switch Family in October 2021.

October 16 – Nintendo Official Store (Lazada) launch
While these stores are not directly operated by Nintendo, Nintendo Co., Ltd. (Japan) has authorized Convergent Systems (S) Pte. Ltd. to operate both stores as an Official Distributor for Nintendo. These stores will carry a large range of Nintendo Switch consoles, accessories, games, and other products.
“We’re delighted to be running our country’s first online Official Nintendo Stores, which will offer authorized Nintendo products officially imported into Singapore.” says Kelvin Khong, Managing Director of Convergent.
Nintendo products will also have a greatly expanded presence in popular electronics retailers in Singapore as well as other online platforms, stay tuned for further announcements!
